Vintage Stocks : Gotta catch'em all!

All the deviations on PostcardsStock are re editions of old postcards that I ve bought in Paris or real antique postcards found in the Geneva flea market. You can find pin ups, couples, fashion, children or even animal pictures. In the scraps you will find some scans of the back of my most romantic ones written in french.

They don't have copyright anymore as they are more than 70 years old so you may use it for whatever you want without my permission.
But of course I'd love to see the result so please link me your work and I ll fav it.
(and YES da's admins know about this account, last time somebody report it, all my pictures were deleted, and the next week they were back with an excuse note from an admin + a three month subscription on both my accounts)

Some postcards are now available as mug, puzzle, magnets, mouse pad and all... but in my very own opinion the postcards versions might be the most interesting (though I suggest you to buy canvas, so I can earn more than 0.20$) By the way, if your want to buy something and you realise that the image is badly cropped, just note me I ll arrange it =) I haven't took the time to do it because it takes so much time and I m aware that I ll sell maybe one card, 2 if I m lucky. Money will go in buying more cards though I don't believe I ll ever secure a return of the money I spend for my cards =) Nevermind, I love them so much, and it's my pleasure too share them with you... kinda like an old woman, bothering you with her cat's photo album...

Anyway, I wanted to ask you, yeah you, the one over there with photoshop skills and some time to waste, to make me a stamp :P All the other vintage stocks have one =( I m jealous. I ll put them in my journal with a link to your dev page beside, so you ll be rewarded with some advertising =) I m counting on you!

I strongly suggest you to visit their gallery because it was quite hard to choose only 3 dev/artists, there is much more to see.

Thank you for all your supports... I m amazed of the numbers of deviants who just told me that they ve followed all that happened the last two days. It's probably because of you that me and GentlemansClubStock are back. So thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks ...

Some of you asked about what happened so here it is.
I first received the classic note that you get when some of your deviations are deleted for copyright violation. A quite formal one actually... Next day I received this from a DA admin (I don't think it will cause him any problem if I copy past it here... anyway it's not my aim to offend anyone)
*I am extremely sorry that your gallery was removed. It was entirely an error on our part, one which I am rectifying right now by putting the images back up. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding about public domain and copyright laws, which I have now cleared up. I have added subscription time onto both your accounts as a way of saying sorry for the screw up and hopefully you will not end up leaving us over this :) *

Everything's okay in the end!
Even better than before! HoolaHoop Sisters (which had been removed shortly after I submited it for "copyright violation") is back too, PostcardsStock had gained a lot of watchers and I hope it will be usefull to them, and I m now subscribed on both my account.

Let's be optimistic pals =)

ABRACADABRA! and everything disapeared...

Sorry guys... I wasn't breaking any copyright and I bet ou know it... you may find those pictures in some book or any other stuff and see that the are not copyrighted...

But well... GentlemanClubStock has evaporated as well.

Hoola Hoop Sister has been removed for copyright violation! Sorry guys!
Maybe it was because the picture is from Oklahoma (the others are from France) ... or because it had only 49 years... I don't know really... still, the postcard came from a serious "brand" of postcard which writes copyrights when there are some. And this one had none.
Nevermind...
